The Pinback Archives
What, you thought this website was the first useful thing I'd ever done on the internet? Well,
it probably is, but the fact remains that my raging creativity has been leaving messy droppings for
a while now, some of which I'd like to preserve. So I put them here.
- The Perimeter - This was my (first?) attempt at a regular, weekly humor column. It went fairly well for about seven weeks. At that point, though, my life was changing so dramatically from what it had been, that the
column no longer seemed appropriate. Well...also, I was bothered by how
blatantly I was ripping off Dave Barry. But anyway, it was fun while it lasted. Plus, the banner graphic is way cool.
- Pong FAQ - This little emotional catharsis actually ended up making its way around
the net without my knowledge. I've seen it (in whole or part) on at least four separate webpages that I'd
never heard of. I once tried to write v0.06, but it turned out I was feeling better by then. It is in the
Pong FAQ that you can watch me master my abuse of the Q/A format.
If you're like me, at this point you're asking, "That's it?"
And if you are me, at this point you're responding, "Shut up."
