For the record: The fact that I am not a fan of "hunting" should not be construed to mean that I have a similar distaste for guns or other weapons.  I value guns in their role as "great equalizer".  For instance, the AMT 45 Backup that I carry while wandering both the hills and the streets gives me a sense of security consistent with its ability to quickly stop any assailant, man or animal, that I am likely to encounter.  At 5'5", 115 pounds, I feel there are but few assailants that I would otherwise be able to handle on my own.
