Ben's 2001 Poker Chart

The purpose of this being, to track all of my poker activities throughout the 2001 year. Hopefully this will provide some insight into my relative level of play, level of improvement, and even more hopefully, how much I'm able to supplement my income with this ridiculous hobby. Please email me if I can help answer any questions for you, be they about poker, this chart, life, or any other facet of our collective existence.
Date Location Limit Hours Result BB/hr *
1/19 Paradise $3-$6 4 -$194 -8.08
We lead off 2001 with my second nightmare session in a row, dating back to late December of last year. Played decent, but got slaughtered time and time again. When the cards don't come and you don't hit your draws, you lose. Rats.

1/27 Paradise $3-$6 2.5 +$20 +1.33
A paltry win, but it was just refreshing not getting destroyed for a change.

2/3 Paradise $3-$6 4.25 -$120 -4.71
Alright, well, this will conclude our presentation of Ben's 2001 Poker Chart. Fuck this game. Fuck cards. Fuck everyone who plays it, and fuck all the casinos that allow it. Die. Die. Die. Eat me.
 P.S. Fuck off and die.
 P.P.S.S. Shit.
 P.P.P.S.S.S. This.

Cumulative Result: -$294
Cumulative Hours: 10.75
Cumulative BB/hr: -4.56

* "BB/hr" is the number of "big bets" won or lost per hour played. A "big bet" is defined in structured betting limits (which all of these games have) as the second of the two numbers in the betting range. For instance, in $3-$6 poker, a "big bet" is $6, which is the amount a player is forced to bet or raise during the last two (in Hold 'Em) betting rounds. An average of 1 BB/hr is a good result. An average of 2 BB/hr is a great result.
